Miss Sri Lanka 2008 pageant is to be held on March 23rd at Colombo Hilton. The event will be jointly organized by the International Association of Lions Club District 306C1 and Images Studio. Funds raised from this program will be directed towards the Sight First project of the Lions.

Lucille Diaz from Kuliyapitiya – Age 24 – working as an Administrative Assistant at the Presidential Secretariat – Lucille says its a good opportunity to represent Sri Lanka and thought she would be a good candidate. “When I win, I would like to use the publicity I get, to advocate good upbringing of children through parenthood, culture and religion.
